   1.    Bankruptcy Code, Rules and Forms, 2009 ed. | Publisher, West's | Book - softbound | ISBN-13: 9780314975263 | Last Updated: 12/18/2008

       **Students may purchase the 2008 edition used book or the new 2009 edition of the book. The 2008 edition, if you are buying used books, may

          be less expensive. However, please, do NOT purchase 2007 or older editions, because the law has changed in recent years and the book will

          be too outdated for the class.

  2.     Legal Research and Writing has no book requirement.  However, please, be advised that you must use a research service online beginning with your first class

          on July 6th.  Please, bring a debit or credit card with you on the first day of class, so you can pay the fee of $105 directly online during class

  3..   Law Dictionary.  Law students must have use of a law dictionary while studying their cases.  Listed below are some recommended titles.  

 

             a.   Black’s Law Dictionary   - or -  (Most used by attorneys, although, not the least expensive.)

 

             b.   Barron’s Law Dictionary  - or -  

 

              c.  Dictionary of Legal Terms: A Simplified Guide to the Language of Law, By Steven H. Gifis

La Palma Ave, Anaheim, Ca  92801, Ph. 800-810-0120.    To save money, Amazon.com, thelawbookstore.com, bookbyte.com and other online book sellers often have used books for sale that can be a cost saver.  However, if you purchase used books, please, be sure you are purchasing the correct edition.  Amazon sellers sometimes list older editions for sale and if you are not careful when you order, you could be ordering the wrong edition.
